Villa Castellaro is an ancient property set high in the hills above the Niccone Valley on the Umbria-Tuscany border. The 35-acre site has spectacular views, large open fields filled with rosemary and lavender and over 120 old olive trees. The property is located on its own hilltop, on a country road far from the nearest neighbors. It is utterly tranquil – the only sounds one hears are the dawn chorus of birds and cow bells from the farm down below. The old farm, parts of which date to the 14th century, has been beautifully restored with understated stylishness and a close attention to detail.

The property is comprised of several stone buildings totaling 7 bedrooms, 6 full bathrooms and additional areas. Sleeping up to 14 people, the property contains the following:

  • The Main House with 4 bedrooms, an enormous kitchen and outdoor terrace, large living room, dining room and library and a separate 1 bedroom apartment. Sleeps up to 10 people.

  • The Studio House with 1 bedroom and a private art studio and kitchen. Sleeps 2 people.

  • The Barn with 1 bedroom and large living area and kitchen. Sleeps 2 people.

  • The Pool is 60 ft (18m) long.

There is broadband wifi internet access throughout the property and satellite television in the Main House.
